Tracie Pough, Former Chief of Staff to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, to Join Ballard Partners

Washington, DC – Ballard Partners, a leading international lobbying firm, is pleased to announce that Tracie Pough has joined the firm as a Partner in the Washington, DC office. Pough brings over 20 years of experience in government and politics, most recently serving as Chief of Staff to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL).

Pough has a proven track record of success in navigating complex policy issues and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. During her time on Capitol Hill, she managed a diverse portfolio of issues, including education, women’s health, and consumer and public safety. She also played a key role in the Congresswoman’s work on the House Appropriations Committee.

“Tracie is known as a ‘Chief’s Chief’ who has trained and mentored chiefs and many other staff during her twenty-plus year tenure on the Hill. Pough also previously served as a Senior Advisor at the Democratic National Committee and as Advisor to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi from 2003-2005.
