Grace Newcombe Colvin is a Partner at Ballard Partners, joining the firm in 2025.
She previously served as Vice President of Federal Advocacy and Strategy at The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates, where she represented the interests of credit unions across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia. In this role, Grace championed initiatives to expand financial access for consumers, preserve a secure payments system, and maintain favorable tax treatment for credit unions.
Earlier in her career, she was Director of Communications and Governmental Relations for the Alabama Secretary of State’s Office. There, she advanced legislation promoting free and fair elections, streamlined business administration, and enhanced government transparency, earning national recognition for her work in election administration.
Grace earned her BA in Political Science and English from the University of South Alabama, where she also served as President of the Student Body.
