
Tracie S. Pough

Tracie Pough brings more than 25 years of experience in legislative affairs, political strategy, nonprofit leadership, and the private sector. She has worked at the highest levels of government and politics, advising elected officials and organizations on policy, appropriations, and federal operations.
For more than 20 years, Tracie served on Capitol Hill, most recently as Chief of Staff to Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a role she held for 18 years. In this position, she managed legislative priorities, secured federal funding, and oversaw congressional operations. Prior to that, she served as an Advisor to House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (2003–2005) and from 2011 to 2016, she was a Senior Advisor and Director of the Chairwoman’s Office at the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
Tracie has worked extensively on appropriations, education policy, disaster response, women’s health, consumer protection, and public safety. She has guided public officials, government entities, corporations, and nonprofit organizations through legislative and policy challenges, helping them navigate federal processes and secure key outcomes.
A Florida native, Tracie is originally from Jacksonville and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Rollins College and a Master’s in Public Administration and Policy from Florida State University.
